The park was quiet, no wind blowing or anything. Everyone who was there seemed to already be doing their own thing either by themselves or with someone else. The animals that were usually crowding the trees were no where to be found, which Sam found strange. It wasn't a very pretty day, but she felt like she needed to get out. She had been staying in her house a lot lately, trying to think of something that could entertain her when she wasn't with Alex. She was normally always with him, so trying to think of something to do without him seemed almost impossible. She then thought about traveling and when the last time she had left her house and just went for a drive around town. She would wander down empty roads, looking around to see if there was anything that would make a good picture. Occasionally she would come across something that would be prefect, taking as many shots as she could without using too much space in her camera. Sam loved to find things that would make good pictures on her wall. She took her camera almost everywhere with her, and if she didn't have her nice camera, she had a digital camera in her purse.

Her phone started to vibrate in her purse, causing the whole bag to start shaking. She opened her bag and pulled out her phone. Tapping the screen once with her small index finger, the screen came to life. She saw she had a text message, but she had no idea who it could be from. She opened it, rolling her eyes when she read who it was from; her mother.

Hey, where are you? I was looking around for you, but I couldn't find you. Text me back or call me when you get this.

Hitting the reply button on the screen, Sam started to write a message back to her mother. She knew that her mother worried about her, but she wished that she would just leave her alone to herself sometimes.

I'm at the Park. I told you I was leaving, you were doing something in the kitchen. Brian knows that I left, so go ask him. I will be back later, okay? I'm just out taking some pictures and wandering around.

Sending the message back to her mum, Sam put the phone back into her purse, placing it on Silent before she put it in her purse. She kept walking around, weaving in between the trees that lined the outside of the park. She stopped next to a large oak tree, turning to put her back against the tree. She sighed, sitting down at the base of the tree and closing her eyes contently.

The wind continued to blow, pushing Sam's hair away from her face. She was about to drift off into a light sleep when she felt someone trip over her feet. She had no idea who it was, but she was about to find out. She snapped her eyes open, blinking at the person in front of her. She had no idea who it was, but he apologized to her. She smiled at him, shrugging her shoulders a bit." It's fine. It's my fault because my feet were out in the middle of the walk way." Sam smiled at him, then replacing the look on her face with that if concern. She hoped that he hadn't hurt himself, but she figured that he was okay. She stood up, holding her hand out to him." Are you okay? Here let me help you up."

Pulling Kethan to the ground, Sam grunted the slightest bit. She wasn't very strong, but she was strong enough for her, anyways. She smiled at him, laughing at the James Bond. She sometimes did that, but he did it before she could even attempt to do it. She smiled, stuffing her hands back in her pockets of her dark skinny jeans." Sounds good to me, and no problem. It's nice to meet you, Kethan. I'm Samantha Ashton, but I go by Sam." Sam smiled, looking back around at the park and trees around her. She was glad that she had someone to talk to out on a lonely day like this. She turned back to him. She knew he looked familiar, but she was really curious as to what school he attended." You look familiar...do you happen to attend Willmington Regional High School? Sorry, but you do look familiar..." Sam trailed off, trying to think if she did indeed know him from somewhere.
